EatZap helps food businesses sell food that would otherwise go unsold, and fill quiet times, with short time-limited deals that people nearby can find on a list and a map.
How it works for venues
- Join free with your venue details and pin it on the map.
- A person reviews your venue before your deals go live.
- Post a deal: title, price, start and end time, how many, and an optional photo.
- Customers lock the deal and get a code. Check the code in your dashboard and they pay you directly.
What it costs
Listing venues and posting deals is free. EatZap doesn’t take commission or handle payments.
Good deals to post
- End-of-day bakery items, sushi, salads or hot food
- Lunch specials on a quiet day
- Surplus stock close to its best-before date (only food that is safe to sell)
- Off-peak table deals
Your responsibilities
- Only post food you are allowed to sell and that is safe to eat, following your local food safety rules.
- Describe the deal accurately, including price, quantity and key allergens, and answer allergen questions from customers.
- Honour every valid code until it expires. If you run out early, end the deal in your dashboard.
Rules
Deals must be for food or drink. No alcohol-only deals, tobacco, vapes, or anything adult. Photos are checked before they appear. Deals reported by several people are paused until reviewed.
