Visitors
- No account needed. Browsing and locking deals doesn’t require sign-up.
- Location: if you tap “Deals near me”, your browser shares your approximate location to sort deals by distance. It is sent with the request but not stored.
- Email (optional): if you enter your email when locking a deal, we use it only to send you the code. Emails and connection identifiers linked to codes are deleted after 30 days.
- Codes are stored in our database (to let the venue check them) and in your browser.
- Venues see only the code, not your email.
Venues
We collect the contact and business details you give us (name, email, venue name, address and map location, optional business registration number, phone and website) to review and display your venue. Your address, map location, phone and website are shown publicly with your deals; your email and registration number are not.
Technical data and cookies
Our server keeps standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. We store a one-way hashed version of your connection identifier to enforce rate limits and stop abuse. Logged-in venues get login cookies. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free visit counting. Maps use OpenStreetMap tiles, which are loaded from OpenStreetMap’s servers.
Sharing and your choices
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help run the site (our web host and Cloudflare) or where the law requires. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data using the contact page. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
